Getting Started

Introduction & Basic Setup Workflow

Welcome to the HotspotSaaS documentation center. Here you will find configuration tutorials, network deployment diagrams, and advice for managing your subdomains.

Platform Overview

HotspotSaaS runs on a multi-tenant cloud framework. Once you register a tenant, your system coordinates with our cloud RADIUS backend:

  • Authentication: Guest devices log into your splash portal. The router triggers a RADIUS ACCESS-REQUEST to radius.hotspot.com.
  • Authorization: If the voucher PIN or credentials match your isolated database, we return an ACCESS-ACCEPT message containing rate limits.
  • Accounting: The router streams usage statistics to our port, which populate your tenant analytics charts.

Quick Onboarding Steps

  1. Launch Workspace: Register your subdomain suffix and open your administrator panel.
  2. Define Pricing Plans: Create hotspot bandwidth profiles (e.g. 1 hour, 1 day, or 1GB plans).
  3. Set Up Captive Portal: Use the drag-and-drop branding tools to upload your logo and splash image.
  4. Connect Your NAS Router: Configure your MikroTik or other hardware device with our shared RADIUS secret.
  5. Distribute Vouchers: Create a voucher batch, download the PDF sheet, and sell them locally.
